The Benefits of Participating in MHI

As the United States’ largest material handling, logistics and supply chain association, MHI provides education, networking and solution sourcing – not only for members, but also for their members’ customers and the industry as a whole.br>

MHI’s mission is “To deliver exceptional value to our Member companies, their customers and other industry constituents in order to promote the growth and prosperity of their organizations and our industry,” and here’s how MHI accomplishes that:

  • MHI provides members the opportunity to reach out to new markets and prospects by exhibiting in the premier material handling, supply chain, and logistics events held in the Americas – ProMat and MODEX. * MHI members have the opportunity to join the ranks of specialized product-specific industry groups. These industry groups bring their members together to promote and influence a specific solution or technology by participating in the creation of specifications, standards and safety guidelines.
  • MHI members have the opportunity to build business relationships and network with their peers by attending MHI membership meetings and executive conferences, such as the MHI Annual Membership Meetings and the MHI Spring Meetings. These meetings also give members the opportunity to stay informed of industry data and trends as members and world industry leaders address commercial and business issues facing specific product groups and the industry as a whole.
  • MHI Members gain use of MHI market information to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans to expand their marketplace. The Material Handling Equipment Manufacturing (MHEM) Quarterly Analysis and Forecast and the MHEM Annual Rate of Change (ARoC) Workbook are provided at no cost to MHI Members. These important business planning tools offer a $780 annual member savings.
  • MHI members are allowed exclusive use of the MHI Trade and Business Press database. MHI maintains contact with trade publications, business journals and freelance authors, as well as with local and national newspapers, to communicate the importance of the material handling, supply chain, and logistics industry and MHI programming.
