Have you been told that a particular vertical lift module is right for you – even though the salesperson didn’t know the dimensions or weight of the material you are storing? Unfortunately, many distributors focus on selling a particular product because that’s what they sell – not because it’s right for you.

At Outsource Equipment Company, we talk to you first to see what your needs are. That could mean a particular brand of VLM, perhaps a used VLM, or no VLM at all. (Yes, that’s right. We don’t want to sell you something you don’t need. We’d rather have a satisfied long-term customer than make a quick sale.)

But if you do need a VLM, we specialize in Modula products and will walk you through their offerings as well as other options.

The Modula Lift is completely customizable for your specific warehouse or distribution center operation, and Outsource Equipment Company is proud to be an exclusive distributor of machines and equipment manufactured by System Logistics, maker of the Modula Lift and other Modula products. (For more on this, see our blog post from February 26, 2014.)

The Modula Lift’s maximum unit load capacity is a whopping 154,000 lbs/70,000 kilograms. How you choose to utilize all that containment space is up to you.

Items may be placed within the Modula Lift’s trays in variably sized storage locations, or “cells” which are slotted on 1.0” (25 mm) increments. This along with modular unit heights available on 7.87” (200 mm) increments allows for more trays to be stored within the Modula Lift’s structure. Additional options available include tray wall extensions, partitions and dividers ensuring the highest operating flexibility. The maximum product height with single-delivery configuration is 27.56 inches or 70.00 centimeters, and with a dual-delivery configuration the maximum product height is 11.81 inches or 30 centimeters.
